Reg and Lynn Martin started breeding Abyssinian cats in 1987. Their CFA cattery name, Tinbats, was derived from their cats' huge bat-like ears and the last syllable of their name. Lynn and Reg and their Abys lived in Chatsworth, California until March 1999 they moved to Ocean Shores, Washington. Very recently, after Reg's passing, Lynn moved back to California. Lynn is continuing to produce beautiful, well-socialized Abyssinians.

The cats have the run of the household as well as a spot in bed at night. Kittens are handled and socialized painstakingly from birth to produce cats that are a pleasure to own and show.
